No. We operate a strict no-activity-log policy. We do not record the websites you visit, your DNS queries, or your originating IP address while connected. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Open the app and tap the large connect button on the main screen. The app will use “Auto select” by default and pick the fastest server. To choose a region manually, tap the country selector and pick from the list (United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, and more).

Try these in order:

1. Tap disconnect, then reconnect — this re-selects the fastest server.
2. Switch to a closer region (e.g., a server in your continent).
3. Check your underlying network — VPN speed cannot exceed the speed of your WiFi or mobile data connection.
4. Restart your phone to clear any stuck network state.

Android requires explicit permission before any app can set up a VPN tunnel. The prompt comes from the system, not from us. Tap OK to grant the VPN permission once — you won’t be asked again unless the configuration changes. You can revoke it any time in Settings → Network & internet → VPN (path may differ slightly by manufacturer).

Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not in the app. To cancel: open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon (top right) → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Secure VPN Proxy → Cancel subscription. You’ll keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Sign in to your new device with the same Google Account you used to purchase, install the app from Google Play, and open the paywall or settings screen — then tap Restore Purchases. Google Play will re-deliver your entitlement instantly.

Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google, not by us. Visit support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637 or open the Google Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history → tap the purchase → Refund.

Yes — the tunnel persists in the background as a foreground service when your screen is off. You’ll see a persistent notification showing the connected state. Some battery-optimization features (especially on Xiaomi, Huawei, and Oppo devices) can kill background services aggressively; if the VPN keeps dropping, add the app to your battery-optimization exception list.

This usually means the server you picked is unreachable from your current network. Tap disconnect, switch to Auto select or pick a different region, then reconnect. If the problem persists across multiple regions, your local network may be blocking VPN protocols — try mobile data as a test.

Maintaining an encrypted tunnel uses some additional energy, but the app is optimized to minimize wake-ups and CPU usage. If you don’t need the VPN actively, disconnect to maximize battery life.
