Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and the developer of Secure VPN Proxy & WiFi Shield (“we”, “us”, the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License grant

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android-powered devices that you own or control, subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. The license does not transfer ownership; we and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your local jurisdiction) and able to form a legally binding agreement to use the App.

3. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

The App may offer auto-renewing subscriptions to unlock premium features. The following terms apply to any such subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in the Google Play Store app: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable by law.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play. To request one, visit support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
• Use the App or our VPN servers to violate any law, intellectual-property rights, or third-party agreements.
• Send spam, conduct denial-of-service attacks, distribute malware, or scan networks without authorization.
• Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App or your subscription access.
• Bypass, circumvent, or interfere with security mechanisms, rate limits, or geographic restrictions imposed by law.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you are violating these rules.

5. Your content and configuration

You retain ownership of any content or configuration you provide to the App. You are responsible for the lawful use of the VPN service and for keeping a backup of any data outside the App where possible.

6. Service availability

We work hard to keep the VPN servers fast and available, but the App is provided on an “as available” basis. Connectivity can be affected by your network, your device, the chosen server region, and circumstances beyond our control.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App. Our total cumulative liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 10.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms or if continued provision becomes unlawful or impractical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

11. Google Play distribution

• Your use of the Google Play Store, Google Play Billing, and your Google Account is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• You and we (not Google) are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual-property rights, we (not Google) will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You will comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and, when material, surface the change in the App or via the Google Play release notes. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
